Don Caballero / DD/MM/YYYY / DoHM Hectic progressive rythyms layer Don Caballero's epic works. Take "Bulk Eye" for example. With each passing second, the song seems to want to erupt, waiting to explode. But it also says otherwise, giving off the notion that something is not right, that this is the soundtrack to a breakdown. Sliding and shifting all over the place, the song is a rocking boat in the middle of a tempest. Trickling back over onto itself, the song fizzles out as it can't break the shield blocking it from spewing over. The same shield keeping the song from exploding. Instead we are left with building and unresolved tension, climbing and climbing to a ledge that is not the top. Come see what I mean when Don Caballero brings his savage compositions to the Grog.
