“We're at a bit of a loss to tell you who is handling the lead vocal work on any particular song, other than the five which feature Luanne Carl in that role. She steps front and centre on the mellow country tunes Be With You, Thank You, Drive, and a couple of pop country efforts in Goin'For It and Strong. There's some good variety to the music with a solid country item in Runaway; a country/blues winner in Two Left Shoes; more of the same in the tune Not Real Happy; and some country/rock 'n roll in the name dropping song Good Old Rock and Roll. The album also sports three cover tunes, again venturing into different musical styles. There is everything from a solid rendition of the Ian Tyson "chuckwagon racing" song Half a Mile of Hell, to the country/rock styling of Poco on their 1979 hit single cover, Crazy Love, and finally a cover of Troopers 1980 soft/rock ballad, Oh Pretty Lady. ”
