Over their ten-plus years together as a band, Doc Walker has become known as one of the hardest working acts in Canadian Country Music. Their seventh studio album “16 & 1,” hits stores on August 29, 2011 and is a distinct reflection of their perseverance as a band. Recorded in lead singer Chris Thorsteinson’s home town of Westbourne, Manitoba, in the band’s recently purchased and converted studio that was once the school that Chris attended as a youth, logically named ‘Old School Studios.’
