“For our readers who have never heard your music, explain your sound in 140 character: Crazy funky flows, dealing blows to the mainstream fellows. Ten years from now DNA will be…. Probably dead, but not before making it to the very top. If you could go open up for any artist on tour right now who would it be? Probably Mos Def and we;re going to July 18th. read more at this link: http://www.insauga.com/music-insauga-dna”
“Band o' the week is DnA Summary: Rockin the 'Burbs of the Mississauga Area, Dren and Artem (Or stage presence DnA) are an alternative/hiphop band looking to bring the meat and potatoes back to hiphop, and the soup starts in our very own GTA. Their beats are phat and reminicsent of old school west coast rap, while bringing their own tastes and twists to give you that bite you haven't sampled yet. If you are looking for some beats for the dog days of summer, I suggest heading their way. Sound and Music: Unlike most r&b, hiphop and rap artists in present day, DnA rhymes at the end of their sentence, they annunciate, they open their mouths when they speak. The tracks aren't all the same, and the songs are relevant to topics and are playable outside of the dance clubs that most artists of similar genres seem to produce. these boys do not follow suit. This is why they are my band of the week.”
"This included personal favorite DnA a.ka. Dren and Artem. Not only does this group write their own lyrics, but they also compose their own beats. Their passion on stage is contagious, as they have no trouble getting the whole crowd going. If you get a chance, be sure to check them out this upcoming weekend at the Limelight Arts Crawl being held at Celebration Square."
"On this show we hear music by Seam, Iman Wain, DnA [Dren and Artem], James Faulkner, Donny Jepp, and Music insauga spotlight on Nehemiah Flow! And we talk to Dorothy Weiss about all the amazing thing she has been doing in the media."
