The DK Sextet featuring Mike Klobas on drums and the amazing Chris Carlson on guitar brings it's Soul Survivor horns; Chris Mercer & Joe McCarthy to mix it up with DK and Joseph Conrad's heavy, punctuated and funky rhythms for your listening and dancing pleasure. The new venue rocks AND looks like a million bucks. Come check it out and enjoy the very cool dance floor (brand new) 82nd and NE Russell - on the right just a few blocks north of I-84 (be sure and take the washington street exit from the 205 north down to 82nd - then turn right. Just about to the top of the hill on the right).
The Etta James Tribute Band featuring the DK Stewart Sextet with Northwest singers; LaRhonda Steele, Lisa Mann, Ray Gordon and "Lady" Kat will grace the stage at this notoriously great festival in it's 18th year. Be there or be square. This town is full of fabulous artists, sculptors, musicians and has a fly-in program for aviation enthusiasts.
