First discovering Jungle/drum and bass on BBC1's one in the jungle in the mid ninetys, Skepticals vivid imagination was captured by the rolling breakbeats,  industrial  soundscapes and massive baselines. Proceeding to educate himself in all things Jungle through tapepacks, he was introduced to the sounds of Kenny Ken, DJ SS,  Brockie, DJ Rap, he started going out to local Jump up nights.   Paying Dreamscape at the Bath and West showground  a visit in 1997, Skeptical was literally blown away by the Scale of the Party, had the experience he still counts as the best night of his life. After Dreamscape, he regulary visited the Brunel Rooms in swindon for One Nation, and Fruit Club nights.
 It wasn't untill around 1999 that Skeptical made the progression from avid Raver to dj getting his first set of decks, and started buying tunes. A random purcahse of Ed Rush and Opticals "Watermelon" opened his eyes to the Virus and techstep scene, a scene that Skeptical is involved in today.  Currently practically living in the studio, rumours are bound of  many twisted nerofunk monsters currently being manafactured.
