DJ Messy's interest in music production began around the age of 14, where he was introduced to the concept of audio sequencing when he stumbled across some demo software. His desire to learn more about music production increased over the years and by the time he was 17 he was experimenting with Hip Hop music using FruityLoops.

By age 18 DJ Messy was introduced to the Drum & Bass raving scene by his mates and since has never looked back. As well as his love for raving his music production also improved with a fresh new Drum & Bass sound and the aid of software applications such as Propellerheads' Reason and Steinberg's Nuendo and Wavelab.

By age 19 DJ Messy got his first set of turntables and taught himself to mix. He recorded many mixtapes for his friends and after a lot of hardwork, practice, and noise complaints he was ready for some exposure...

You can now catch DJ Messy playing on the world's biggest, longest running, multi-award winning Drum and Bass radio station KOOL 94.6 FM (or via www.drumandbasswise.com or www.raveguide.co.uk) friday nights 3-5 A.M. And also at various rave venues in and around London. (Check MySpace for dates.)
