“Djangophil performs in many configurations: from duo to quartet. With two guitar players, a double-Bass, a saxophone and/or violon player, her music (influenced by Django Reinhardt) explore Gypsy Jazz and BeBop universes: Wes Montgomery, Charlie Parker, George Benson, not forget Latin music and French style (Charles Trenet, Edith Piaf). The band records an album per year while trying to push each time the boundaries of his music style. Djangophil was able to make the buzz in the 2008's Monsegur festival through FR3 Aquitaine french TV report and on the Django Station Website, where their 'Israel Blues' album (dedicated to Israel Dauher) had impressive reviews. Since 2000, the band criss-cross his homeland in South-West of France: Concerts, festivals, private dates .. Djangophil love switching from the 30's guitar sound to the BeBop era electric sound from song to song. ”
