About

Dismal Perception is the driving entity behind the creative output of 3 people.  It all started out when Andy (Guitars, Vocals, Beer Drinker) and Namsu (Drums, MASTER Beer drinker) met at the Musician's Institute in Hollywood, California.  They had the desire to create music that was at once masterful, emotional, and strange.  The product of this coupling brought about the song Troubled, which, it is.  Since then the duo worked on more music and Ideas, and occasionally making comments like "Bass players suck!" because there were none to be found.  Eventually Jared (Bass) showed up at MI and liked the music...Thus the lineup was complete, (Or mostly)  there was an accute lack of a keyboardist and vocalist at the time.  However, once Dismal Perception started to really take shape, Andy found his muse, and was able to begin creating heartfelt lyrics about things that trouble him (Like lack of beer, and not smoking in bars anymore)  He also discovered that he had a pretty decent singing voice.  The band is currently seperated due to the fact that Andy is in Thailand, recording and producing a demo and debut album (Screw the Record Companies!!!!)  The music will soon be available for download on Itunes, and the CD is scheduled for release later this year.   Stay Tuned!
