NUCLEAR TOMORROW DIRTBAG SORRY STATE $3 DOORS: 9 PM / SHOW: 10 PM NUCLEAR TOMORROW was inspired by his 80s punk addiction, Mike wanted to start a band. He started writing a handful of songs with the idea of keeping them short, fast, and loud. After 20+ songs in 5 years and numerous lineup changes, the band still continues with original members Mike and Robert. DIRTBAG is one of those great bands that people never really hear about. They were formed in 2004 by brothers Mike and Vultch and have since built a strong reputation in the Southern California Hardcore Punk scene by peddling their abrasive yet very complex form of Hardcore that defies typical convention. Think of them as the West Coast's answer to Gang Green. SORRY STATE was conceived when four friends came together sharing a common attitude, desire, a stock load of untapped material and a shared vision of having a good time with good friends. The bands lineup consists of: DAVE COOPERSTEIN (Last Round Up, Butcher)-Vocals, STEVE PORTER (Last Round Up, Terminal Holocaust)-Guitar, JOSH WARDEN (Blind Five, Rotgut)-Bass & RON REED (Neveready, Not Your Kynd)-Drums. SORRY STATE has been hitting it hard since coming together, and have played numerous high profile shows as well as toured with some of punks largest acts both in the United States as well as abroad. SORRY STATE consistantly brings a high intensity, in your face style, while still keeping a good natured and fun atmosphere approach to every show which has been received very well and has helped in gaining SORRY STATE a respectable following throughout Southern California and beyond.
