Derek Vincent Falls, a recording artist started performing at the early age of 13 along side of his father and local legend Thomas Falls. Derek is the third generation of talented and giving musicians to embrace the music scene. With his diverse style and unique guitar playing he has been quoted as a remarkable mix between Santana, BB King, and with a vocal tone of Lenny Kravitz all wrapped into one very passionate man. His band "The Mother Jones Band" performs weekly at local clubs such as "Honey Martins", Montréal's famous "Smoked Meat Petes", "The Jell-O Bar" and "Bourbon Street". He has also performed at the Montreal Jazz Festival, appeared in the Besame Mucho video with Danny Aeillo & Hasan, Le Prince Ayman video, as well as a small role in the movie "ART OF WAR". Derek not only dominates the stage as a performer his remarkable skills as a producer set him aside from most of his peers. He has worked with local and international artists who later on became finalists on American Idol, Solid Gold. Derek over the years master his skills and began writing and producing for local artists such as, Nathalie Mathews, Nella, as well as composing radio jingles and music for movie trailers and film production companies. At the age of 38 Derek has released his first album "COLORS" and is back in studio finalizing his second album "Derek Falls OUT OF CONTROL" and "AS I AM" to be featured in his "Trinity Collection" an incredible three album launch.
