Defying Silence is an original rock band rising fast through the charts of the local music scene in Atlanta, GA. The band originally formed in June of 2008 by captivating vocalist and front man Brian Atha and powerhouse guitarist Jake O'Donnell. After a few member changes over the next year, the final lineup soon became complete after adding bass virtuoso Adam Plato and young but talented way beyond his years drummer Josh Fulcher into the mix.

Still working on some new material which we will be playing some of it this weekend at Sweetwater in Duluth, GA for the first time. The newly recorded songs are in the works to be mastered. The cd soon to follow!!
