Bio
Formed as a recording project in 1998, Deep Rising has evolved into a rock band with a prog edge featuring excellent singing, playing, and song writing that draws from influences as varied as Stone Temple Pilots, Kings X, Alice In Chains, Rush, Jane's Addiction, Peter Gabriel, Seal, Led Zeppelin. Deep Rising music is visceral and meaningful, drawing from their influences and creating their own style which has been described as immediately accessible, interesting, deep, and definitely unique. Hard rockers love the powerful guitars. Proggers are drawn by the vocal melodies, arrangements, and meaningful lyrics. Deep Rising is equally impressive live. Their music has been critically acclaimed in the U.S. and Europe.
