“The music tonight was outstanding! Decatur Creek treated us to a really stunning new song by Doug Farrell, along with some of their other originals that we've come to know and love, what beautiful harmonies and amazing guitar work.”
"We have enjoyed listening to this trio grow. They performed in Mason at the Summer Music on the Green. They wowed folks that night. It can be said that Steve, Jack, and Doug’s friendship is reflected in their performances. The sum of all the parts light up and energize the tapestry of music they perform for the audience. They are quite comfortable sharing the stage together and their friendship and camaraderie spill out onto the audience with wit and warmth."
"Decatur Creek is an acoustic trio of songwriters that hail from southern New Hampshire west of Manchester. I first heard Doug Farrell and Jack Carlton last fall at the Spireside Coffeehouse in Dunbarton, and was taken aback by their musicianship and their songwriting skill. Steve Dionne has joined forces with these two musicians and they came visiting the First Friday Coffeehouse this past March when we featured Jack Kid. They have a great sound and take turns supporting each others' original compositions. I highly recommend you check these guys out."
“Each has a great sense of humor. All 3 of you are very talented musicians and song writers and I am looking forward to the CD when it becomes available.”
“What can I say? You guys were fantastic tonight! I enjoyed hearing songs that each of you had written - your each have a unique style but compliment each other so well. Your harmonies were beautifully blended and the humor you brought along with your considerable talent really made for a great show. I know you're recording a demo set right now and am hoping that you have a full CD out some time in the near future -- I'll put my order in for one right now and I know a few others tonight said they would love to have one, too. Thank you so much for featuring at the Spireside... All the best to Decatur Creek, Sincerely, Lizz and the Spireside Team”
