DEBACLE / Press

" BOONE COUNTY'S BEST ENTERTAINER " Name aside, Boone County readers agree that the band DEBACLE is anything but. The final votes have been tallied and DEBACLE won best entertainment in Boone County in the 2007 People's Choice Awards. The four-piece band has been together for three years now and offers an array of music from rock and roll to country that tries to offer something for everyone who comes to see them play. "We play anything from Elvis to Pantera," DEBACLE front man Scot Lowery of Lebanon said. Lowery said he was shocked his band was even nominated for the award when he found out they won. "I'm proud we were voted in," he said "I'm very excited about this." Since the band came together three years ago, they have toured through central Indiana and have recorded one independent CD, "Place of My Own," with a second now being recorded. The band, Lowery said, is not just some sort of hobby for these guys, it's their passion and it's what they want to succeed in.
