Some may say that this is a very short biography, however, Dean Heslop is 19 years old and he's not quite ready for an autobiography; he probably would be had he entered the X-Factor, but he didn't, he joined Weedspell instead. He's a young talented all round musician, actor and singer/songwriter from the town of Redcar in Cleveland. At the age of 16 he formed 'The Madison Fallout'; developing his song writing skills, becoming the principle writer of all the bands songs, as well as playing the lead guitar.

Having built a reputation as a multi instrumentalist, he has also played keyboards for soul band "About Time" at the Royal Albert Hall on the 11th November 2007.

2007/8 has been a time of developing his "solo" skills as well as handling lead duties with North East rock band GuvNor. It has also seen the first development of his first "solo" CD, provisionally titled, "Screaming Thru My Minds Eye", which will be released at the end of 2009 on a local North East Indie lable Weedspell Records. Spending most of his time in Cardiff developing his music skills, be sure to try and catch him live, either as a soloist, or when travels back up North an fits very comfortably in his position as lead guitarist with GuvNor.
