Founded by Dustin Dichoso in 2007, Deadbolt Zen has included many musicians from Houston, Austin, Los Angeles and Toronto. Since 2007, the band released its first, self-titled EP, through Reality Records, and, as of 2011, will be releasing its first full length EP, Narcissus and Echo. Deadbolt Zens song, Everything Changes, was also included the Tony Hawk game, "Proving Ground." Some other songs have landed on soundtracks of indepent films as well.
