Q: I've read in ur bio that u've had the priviledge to work with the late legendary Edwin Starr from the Motown early years of development, share with us ur aftermath after knowing and working with him.

A: i will share that little story with great pleasure, we kept german shepherds,1 day i see this guy walking past the house with the most enormous german shepherd i had ever seen so we got chatting over the wall and he, (George Williams theTymes) told me he got *bear* after he'd seen ours, so we laughed chatted and i invited him in with *bear* he lived around the corner and we became firm friends,we had music in common too as we were involved running a well-known music venue at the time, so anyhow we would get together especially for 4th.july celebrations at his place where we met his good friend Edwin, Billy Jackson, Ruby Turner and other artists of the day, i never told george i was writing and recording stuff anyhow as a joke 1 day i said to george how would you and edwin like to help me out with a song, george was surprised he didnt think i was into music, said drop me a tape and we (edwin) will have a listen, so i did, george got back and said yeeh we like it, we'll come down and do it. i was spluttering now thinking WOW!! sooo the day came, we all squeezed into this basement studio and Edwin took charge he'd already worked out what and where he was singing his part, he was telling george where to come in on the harmonies and as happens we all started getting the giggles, edwin was strong and fierce when it came to vocals he told us he was a *one take* guy and he did exactly that, now george and me were giggling giggling while edwin was in the booth, i was trying so hard to contain myself i thought SHIT cant be doing this with these 2 great guyz wasting time, but george was giggling just as much as me till the tears were rolling down, OMG, anyhow we did get it done, it was one of the best days of my life, they were happy i was happy everybody was happy, and Edwin announced on his way off to his next gig that it was gonna be a HIT!! since then due to *life* it has been gathering dust now being aired....i was at Edwin's last gig before he passed and georg
