Stafford & Sturdevant is the talk of the neighborhood with their weekly Tuesday evening concert at this family friendly destination in North John "Mr. Clarinet" Stafford & "Doctor" David Sturdevant's weekly concert features an eclectic repertoire of Jazz-infused Americana, Classic Rock n' Roll and R&B fueled New Orleans Soul. Oakland's prized Piedmont avenue neighborhood. Surrounded by local artisans, bars and cafes, boutique shops, and numerous specialty stores, Caffe Trieste Piedmont Avenue is a perfect host to the feel good music of one of the Bay Area's most beloved duos. John & David perform each week from 7:00 - 9:30pm to the delight of faithful fans and first timers alike - but get there early, the best tables go fast! Trading lead vocals, harmonizing and lively instrumentals give their performances a vibrancy and homespun quality that is often copied by others but rarely surpassed. John commands clarinet, saxophone and flute while David keeps the groove with guitar and harmonica.
