He is the most successful solo artist out of the Denver metro region, with a foundation in Colorado Springs, Colorado. he has hand-crafted a dedicated following of thousands over the past years by performing and battling in the Mid West and South West. Known for his controversial battles in Scribble Jam 7 in 2003 and a finalist in the Jay – Z Roc the Mic battle in Denver, Black Pegasus is the most influential rapper in a region that has never produced a major solo rap artist. Black -P’s solo debut album “The Black Pegasus” (2003) and follow up album Knuckle Up (2005) have sold over 6,000 copies independently. His album “F**K YO! RADIO” has been Picked up By L.A. Underground/Warner Bros Distribution and release world wide Oct 2006. With Much Underground Success of his F**K YO RADIO release Black P dropped The Black Mexican Album Jan 15th 2008(That Sold 7,000 units) to date. As his Popularity increases he put out a Mixtape ”Hitting on The Industry V.1” during the last quarter of 09. In 2010 he released “Black by Popular Demand” and then ”The Brass Knuckle King” May 3rd 2011,With Guest Appearances by Immortal Technique, Kutt Kalhoun,& More. Black Pegasus Is now working on a Album titled “YMP” for the summer of 2013.
