This rising star just shot her first ever music video for her hit song "So Good 2 U"! This video will be in rotation for several weeks starting Thursday, August 16, 2007 on JLove TV, Channel 77 on DC's Comcast Network Channel.  She's also received honors from the ASCAPLUS awards panel and a nominee for the DMV Music Awards as Best R&B Female Artist.

Darlette aka Whyte Chocolate has also collaborated with the same hot producers who laid down tracks for R. Kelly, Destiny's Child, Kelly Price, and she's performed with many other stars. She's one of the hottest women in the independent industry now! She has her own individual style being soulful, sexy and mellow with a touch of funk. This girl is Hot! She's UNSTOPPABLE! Born and raised in Washington, DC, she assumed an interest in music as a small child.  Singing has always been her passion.  At a young age she would write songs and always surrounded herself with something musical while attending school.  The desire to share her talents with the world has always been her dream.  She joined a female rap group, by the name of Complexity, with two other ladies.  They wrote music and recorded a demo.  After several months of recording, Complexity split for undisclosed reasons.  At a later date, she was asked to lay some tracks for a local rapper and childhood friend.  She happily agreed.  They worked together and did the recordings and she's been recording ever since.  She recently completed her independent CD titled “Whyte Chocolate” now available in stores and online at www.tower.com, www.cdbaby.com or www.darlettegayle.com.

She has hosted a local television show, the HCM Production Talent Showcase, where she interviewed local up and coming talent, airing on the local Comcast network for DC, PG County and Baltimore City Public Access Channel.  She has also done interviews for JLove TV airing on the local Comcast network on channel 77 in Washington, DC.

Also, recently shot her first ever music video for her song "So Good 2 U".  Release party was held at Pasha Lounge, Washington, DC in June sponsored by Ettelrad Music Company.
