“'Dark Road Duo' performs at Arts Series”

“The summer music concert series at the Angelica Sweet Shop winds up on Sunday, August 29th at 4:00 p.m. with blues, bluegrass and old-time country music by DARK ROAD DUO of Buffalo, NY. As some people follow guitar music, Harmonica Vic has always followed harmonica-laden music, and this includes a wide cross-section of music. He incorporates the styles of Doc Watson, Sonny Boy Williamson I, Paul Butterfield, Jimmie Fadden, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band into his performances. He has shared the stage with many of Canada’s Juno winners such as Dutch Mason and Vann ‘Piano Man’ Walls, and has played regional festivals. He has performed with The Great Harmonica Zeke, country artist Jimmy Kaye, and legendary piano man Stan Szelest. He was one half of the group “Built for Comfort” for 16 years. Cinde “converted" from a rock-rhythm-and-blues singer to pure blues, country, and folk. She has been singing since the age of 16 and at the age of 49 learned to play acoustic guitar from V”
