Darcy began playing violin with Annemarie Sudermann at age 7 about the same time she began lessons at the Healy Irish dance school. With help from her mother and her father’s endless supply of Irish music, she was able to continue studying both classical music and Irish dance throughout her childhood. It wasn’t until she attended Bobbi Nikles’ Fiddlekids that Darcy realized she could be the one playing Irish fiddle.
