Jason “Da Public’s Eye” Stanley, born in Maxton North Carolina, is an

eccentric artist; whose sound transcends various genres of music such

as Hip Hop, r/b, and soul.  Da Publics Eye started his road to fame by

entering street ciphers.  Combining style and swagger from his musical

influences, Bone Thugs and Harmony, Mic God, and Best Man, he created a

non traditional technique to battle other Mc's; gaining much street

recognition.  After earning respect from some of the most popular,

neighborhood Mc's, and reigning as Cipher Champion in the streets,

Da Publics Eye chose to pursue a career in music.

In 2003, Da Public’s Eye's right hand man, Donte' “Hogg Boogie” Monroe,

was murdered.  This tragic event put a halt on Da Publics Eye's dreams of

becoming an artist.  However, after almost two years of mourning, soul

searching, and revisiting a spiritual relationship with God,

Da Publics Eye began to revisit the art of music because his friend would

have wanted him to continue.

Trying to establish a national spotlight for the small town of Maxton,

Da Public’s Eye began to hone his skill by working around the clock to

perfect his craft. After months of hard work, he debuted his first

project in 2005, “I'm Bout My Bizne$$,” a mix tape ultimately proving

him to be a household name. With eleven tracks of certified hotness,

Da Publics Eyes message in his music captivated audiences of all genders

and ethic back

grounds.

After the success of his debut album and a growing fan base,

Da Public’s Eye went back into the studio and soon released the follow up

of  “I'm Bout My Bizne$$” with “Da Public’s Eye” in 2006.  This self

titled album became successful and created new opportunities of work

with some of  industry's heavy hitters; such as Johnathan Baker and

Francois Craig, who've introduced him to the business side of the

craft.  It wasn't long until Da Public’s Eye created his own corporation,

Da Public’s Eye Inc., including music, entertainment, and film, and began

taking any and all necessary actions to ensure his business was

protected.

Working on his third release, Da Public’s Eye remains focused on the music

as he draws from life's experiences to create new and innovative ways

to satisfy his fans. With the success of his first two projects,  a

daily increasing fan base, and the planning of an upcoming tour,

Da Public’s Eye has carved a place in the entertainment industry and will

continue to serve as a living testament of a struggling, independent,

artist creating his path to success.
