DANGERFLOW!
Take one part hip-hop, one part soul, add a dash of afro-cubano drum rhythms, shake well and enjoy. These carefully-blended ingredients make up the sound of South Florida's most exciting & refreshing new Hip-Hop band, Dangerflow.
Dangerflow brings its Hip-Hop beat to the crowd with a cocktail of live drums, funky guitars, and jazzy horns. Led by both its conscious wordsmith, and soulful vocalist, the danceable sound doesn't come without substance. The group makes sure to include an uplifting and inspiring message in nearly every song.
This may come as a shock to many Floridians who have grown accustomed to mainstream radio's version of Florida Hip-Hop stars but there is much more to the music scene in South Florida than candy-coated pop songs dressed in Hip-hop clothing.
Dangerflow has been perfecting its signature sound since late 2007 and is currently in the studio recording its first EP. The group has begun performing for the City of Miami Health Department & recently started a movement entitled, "The Rebirth of Cool Concert Series" featuring other live local Urban acts.
Why is Dangerflow so dangerous? The industry will know the answer to that when the fans start demanding more live music in Hip-Hop. The time may come when live Hip-Hop acts start to seduce the mainstream fans away from their Hip-Pop kings and queens. Judging by how much support Dangerflow has gained in less than a year, it looks like it won't be long!
