About

Supporting Amplifier at the Cavern -
This was a brave performance from a local band, a different kind of sound to the crossover/progressive rock that was to follow later in the evening. Dressed for the occasion this Goth metal band delivered a wall of noise with grinding bass and fearsome vocals. It was clear that these guys love to perform for the crowd. - rockbeast.com -        -         -           -         -       -

Dandylion Daughters were formed in 2002 by founding member Paul Abrey. Beginning as a two piece with box of tricks it was only a short time before we were joined by a drummer and dates in London aswell as local were quickly secured with some interest from labels. After a benifit gig in late 2002 the drummer was released from the band following personel indiferences. A new drummer Mark Pring was recruited and a 6 track mini album recorded with bass player Frim (Richard Frimston). Mark was then replaced by Jodey Cordwell in 2003 and Frim replaced with Garf Manser. A 3 track demo was recorded in April 2004 at Propogation House Studios while the band were enjoying local success, rave reviews and building a good following. June 2005 the band ceased gigging due to personel reasons but Paul has been working on new material which is currently being recorded.

Obscene Machine will be used on the film soundtrack to Open Road, to be premiered October 2007.
