WELCOME TO DAMPFBAHN'S REMIX PAGE All Is Indeed Swell Enough for a Remix! Everybody's doing remixes these days. It's a very pleasant and extra-creative part of the bedroom-studio-revolution. Often remixes reveal something quite new and exciting about a well known and/or worn song. DAMPFBAHN! has asked some of our closest internet-friends to do a personal remix or cover version of our song All Is Swell. Why? To display the talents of our friends and make a small remark about music business today. First of all, you gotta have talent if that tune's gonna sound allright. Second, we believe the period of making money by selling original versions of the artists' music is over. Music is gonna go completely open-source - we hope. For almost a year the two friends Peter and Simon has been playing together, creating a buzz in the Danish underground as one of the promising young bands from Copenhagen. The sound has developed from extravagant club-oriented pop towards a simpler recipe with equal parts of references to the eighties, punk attitude and hit potential. DAMPFBAHN! has already been contacted several times from the Danish and international industry, but are right now working on a personal concept of releasing their music. Right now a lot of recording are being done in the studio, and different releases are taking shape. In the fall 2007 DAMPFBAHN! will release new tracks and a giant remix-compilation.
