Q: Dalton, What make, year, pickups, paint & rig do play out of? MadisonLock
A: Hey Madison. I use a Texas special Strat with the pickup closest to the neck swapped out with a 1950 model. The other two pickups are standard Texas specials. My amp I normally use is a Fender Tweed Blues Junior with a Jenson speaker...pretty much stock. But on my recordings...I'm using a Matchless amp running a bit hotter than I normally play. I play about 90% of the time with the 50's pickup (toggle switch pulled to the 5th position up or last position I should say. I get that Hendrix sound from my rig that way. I use a Memory Toy Delay.,..nothing special there...and a Fulltone Fat Boost...but only for a bit of push. Hope that helps brother.
