DALLAS / Press

“When I was leaving the Lady Antebellum concert last night in Augusta I saw a car full of young girls singing and when I got closer I realized they were singing “Doin’ Our Thing” with their windows down & it was REAL loud. They were having a good time. It made me smile....I'm a BIG fan of good music and this is GOOD!!!”

“'DALLAS' recently played a benefit concert for our non-profit organization to raise money for a local child with cancer. The following they have made them a great choice for our event. There's just something about their style that makes you want to dance and be crazy. They are great guys and great musicians. The energy they bring is seldom found in the industry. Thank you!”

“I did a dual event for Jack Daniel's with the band 'DALLAS' for Phoenix's grand opening party in Hiram, Georgia. The band is absolutely amazing. Not only is the music awesome, but the energy they create is one of a kind! I hope to work with them again in the future.”

"Dallas" (as in Dallas, GEORGIA I found out ) was my favorite band and screamed the least and was actually pretty good. Been together 6 months. Wore the same typa shirts and baseball caps like all the Texas acts seemed to do (Rita, it's spreading damn it!). A lot of potential in their songs, the singer and the band. They worked hard at entertaining, as well :)

“I booked 'DALLAS' at the Columbia County Fair in Evans, Georgia and was very impressed with them! They were fresh Country with a lot of originals. The crowd was very into them and it was great. We would definitely love to have them back and the crowd wants them back.”

“Dallas was great! They put on a good show and had my bar packed all night!”

“I just wanted to give a shout out to Mark, Chris, and the guys in the band for the great job you did at Jennilee and Ryan's wedding! Y'all were great and I really appreciated you being able to step in and save the day. I love your music and hope to see you again. If I can ever do anything for you, just let me know.”

“Y’all were exactly what we were looking for in a band! We had the most fun possible!”

“[Gold Rush Festival in historic downtown Villa Rica] Dallas, a country and Southern rock band, has opened for Little Texas, recorded an EP and played acoustic shows, festivals, gigs and parties from Cartersville to Grovetown. Singer-guitarist Chad Rhodes of Dallas brought together Dallas native Justin Kelley, a singer, songwriter, arranger and keyboard player, with Silvertree Studios owner and bassist Stephen Adams, local guitarist Chris Hembree, vocalist Callie and drummer Chris Kittredge, an Atlanta Institute of Music graduate, local drum instructor and session player. “Dallas, a local six-piece country band that formed less than seven months ago, is already making a name for itself and having fun doing it. … they’re booking events all over the metro Atlanta area and they opened for Little Texas last Saturday in the pre-fireworks concert at the Villa Rica Civic Center and Sports Complex. “I never dreamed once I got in this band things would happen this fast,” said Justin Kelley of Bowdon. Many of the band’s original songs were written by Chad Rhodes of Paulding County, who formed the band with Kelley. Though Kelley has played music most of his life, Rhodes had never been musically inclined until his personal life began to unravel and he decided to put his emotions on paper. He later starting playing guitar and the rest is history. Read more: Dallas Popularity Growing”

“About 10,000 people are expected to attend Villa Rica’s July 3 fireworks show. Country band Little Texas will headline the night’s musical entertainment at the Villa Rica Civic Center and Sports Complex on Highway 61. Members of the opening musical act, Dallas, are all from the West Georgia region. Dallas is a country band whose influences stretch from Waylon Jennings to .38 Special with a modern throwback to the “outlaw” sound and a twist of Southern rock and modern country thrown in for good measure. The group is currently working on its self-produced debut album due out by the end of the summer. Little Texas, which will take the stage about 7:30 p.m. and play until the fireworks show, was conceived in Nashville by a handful of musicians in their early 20s who were willing to do just about anything to bring their brand of rock country to the forefront of the music industry.
