Da Kreek is a hip-hop duo consisting of rappers and producers DTown and Mello Dee. Together, the duo has received various award nominations for their extensive work in the genre since their formation in 2006. These nominations included HHB Series Best Group (2008), Ohio Hip Hop Awards Best Group (2008), and Ohio Hip Hop Awards Best New Group (2007). The group is also renowned for their live shows in which they interact with the crowd. In 2008, Da Kreek performed at the HHB Series in Pittsburgh live via internet. The shows boasted 5000+ viewers in 22 different states. The group is also known as veteran’s in the Hip Hop for Hip Hop Heads Series, a rapidly growing hip hop series in northeastern Ohio.
