Dazee Love

Born in DetroitMichigan, Dazee was raised with the Motown Sound embedded in her soul. Dazee’s musical background began before she was born. Her Great Grandmother was the organist for a small church that still stands on Indiana, in Detroit.  That was just the beginning. Dazee’s Grandmother (Orene Spencer) grew up in the same church as well as her mother, Ruby (who was a back ground vocalist for Motown).   Dazee has several Aunts and Uncles that were also musically gifted. CP. Spencer (Lead Vocalist of the Motown recording group Originals.) Leon Ware Musician and producer writer artist (Motown, Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Minnie Riperton etc).

Musically talented Dazee inherited the music gene.

At the age of 5 Dazee sang in the church choir.  Her love for music was evident. Needless to say this was just the beginning.  Dazee

Continued her musical interest through high school. Here she studied Music and Radio TV production and Theatre production where she excelled.

And on the Corporate, gig circuit.

Having a passion for acting she joined the Michigan Community Theatre Troupe; she quickly excelled and was given the position as the Musical Director. Still not satisfied Dazee wanted to sing.  Singing in different functions she met her first producer and soon after recorded her first CD titled Dazee.

This was a musical mix of House and R&B.

Dazee is an active member of the Musical Scene in Detroit, she has appeared at many famous local spots including Bakers keyboard lounge, The Fox Theatre, the Detroit Opera House. Some of her performances include singing for, President William Clinton, Pavarotti farewell dinner, Women in Jazz Festival in WashingtonDC with jazz artist Straight Ahead, 70’s soul Superstars (PBS), Motown the early Years (PBS).

Dazee has performed with some of the music industry greats such as

Patti Labelle, the Four Tops, Isaac Hayes, Dennis Edwards Temptations, Heat Wave, Leon Ware, the Funk Brothers, Rufus, Queen Latiffa,

Naughty By Nature

and many more.

As well as singing with the Undisputed Truth.  

Dazee also has an extended Radio and Television Commercial background. Recording Commercials for Local and nationwide distribution.
