Bio
Today, CST is primarily influenced by a handful of groups Cross Movement, Flame and LeCrae. CST has had different meanings. Earlier, it stood for Cool Sweet Terry, a variant of Terrible T, a name he was given by other neighborhood rappers as a child. Now, CST stands for Christ Saved Terry- a name taken after his conversion to Christ. Da Bronze Bomber is his alter ego, “Rappers have always presented multiple personalities on their records and mine is no different expect for the fact that it’s positive” On August 14, 2003, CST's Brother D’Andre Cooper was killed on the East side of Detroit. Da Bronze Bomber LP is dedicated to his memory.
About
CST/Da Bronze Bomber is back with his gritty, in your face, lyrical style and versatile delivery that captivated audiences on his debut release Da Bronze Bomber LP. CST/Da Bronze Bomber is poised to deliver more truth to the world, he returns with a much-needed message on his sophomore effort God Don’t Like Ugly.
From the early beginnings of his church’s Campus and Music ministries, CST’s heart has always been dedicated to broaden the people’s view of who God truly is. Now after performance opportunities across the Mid-West to large and small venues, from churches to outdoor stages with audiences ranging from the inner-city to the suburbs, CST has gained a first-hand insight of the issues and struggles that people are facing. After having a chance to see how so many music fans, particularly the youth, are infatuated with modern-day rappers and multi-media stardom, CST wants them to instead become infatuated with Jesus Christ.
In CST’s Music, his only goal is to encourage listeners to glorify God with their lifestyle by pointing them to the person of Jesus Christ in the Bible. CST has purposed to let them know that God is more concerned about what life looks like in the person than what happens on Sunday mornings. He desperately wants everyone to understand Gods call is about a complete lifestyle devoted to the Lord, not just acting and playing church once or twice a week.
Introspective songs like "Conversation Piece" and “4 Jesus” all the way to crowd-pleasing tracks such as "Die for my Beilefs" showcase his unique ability to mix his distinctive aggressive style into a versatile sound of authentic Hip Hop. Keeping a tight connection to his listeners while delivering a heart-convicting message with passionate energy, GOD Don’t Like Ugly is sure to be an inspirational tool in the arsenal of those striving to live for the glory of Christ.
