Q: Chris, looking back at your years while at 96 High, did you ever see the life you have now? What would you say to the students going to school there today? Have thought about singing @ the school?

A: Great Question!! I have always known that this was the life I wanted since early on. I can remember as far back as Edgewood Middle School knowing this is what I wanted to do with my life. 96 High, set everything in motion in regards to the faculty always stating you can do anything if you set your mind to it. I was really blessed to have great teachers and mentors. I am very proud of where I come from and wear it on my sleeve. One of the greatest inspirations and quotes, I still carry with me today was on a poster in the hall at 96 High and it changed my whole outlook on life. It was stated by an early Nineteenth Century Author by the name of Napoleon Hill the quote is "If you can conceive it, You can achieve it" and those are the words I live by. For the students of Ninety Six High I would say follow your heart and your dreams because anything is possible if you want it bad enough. As cliche as that may sound, it is the God's honest truth.. Keep swinging the axe and something will eventually fall. In regards, to performing at 96 High, I would love too. It's ironic you ask, because a couple days ago, I spoke with my best friend Craig Walker on this same topic. I told him it would be really cool if I could come back home and perform at the High School in front of a hometown crowd. I guess it would come down to the School Board and if they would allow it but I would absolutely love that opportunity if allowed. Once again, thanks for the questions and hope to see ya out on the road soon. God Bless and Keep it Country, Chris Turner
