Crystal Rain was founded and officially started working during spring 2007 when R. Slade (vocalist), J.Fire (guitarplayer) and J.Edgeman (drummer) decided to establish new band after previous band stopped functioning. The main trio has stayed the same during couple of live and recording line-up changes. First songs Kiss of death and Let It Rain were composed during spring 2007 and demo was recorded 8/07 five months after first rehearsals. The demo achieved good responce and we had our career opening gig in kaapelitehdas 13.10.2007 as part of annual beer festival of KOFF - to rock before 1600 people! We recorded and mixed second promosongs during feb-april 2008 and played several gigs. Third visit in studio was late 2008 and songs were released on cd as double-self-release single also.. to be continued.. Idea of Crystal Rain is to compose songs carefully and with patience. Our music includes influences of melodic 80..s hard and heavyrock, also modern heavy rock, and gothic metal! Some bands to mention for our inspirations are: Paradise Lost, Type O Negative, Kiss, Amorphis, Sentenced, Him, and so on... As this is only the beginning, stay tuned ..cause the ROCKS START TO ROLL when CRYSTAL RAINS......!
