COUNTERSTRIKE also known as Animal Chin and 500 Mills, have been active drum 'n bass DJ's/producers since the mid Nineties. Collectively producing since 1998, they've had over 40 12" vinyl releases on various high profile labels such as Rob Playford's Moving Shadow, Dieselboy's Human and Dylan's Obscene. Algorythm Recordings, their own imprint, was re-launched in 2005 and include releases from artists such as Current Value, Limewax, SPL and T.Z.A. They are currently working on their much anticipated debut album - Insubordination which will be released on Algorythm later this year. Apart from their busy production schedule they still find the time to regularly perform in Europe and the USA. The past year has seen them DJ in 16 countries. They also run South Africa's biggest drum 'n bass night, Homegrown.
