Bio
Raised in Colonial Heights, VA, I played in several band while in High School, among them The New Excursion , Windsor Theater and Bluewood Jam. In 1972 I moved to Richmond to attend Virginia Commonwealth University as a Acting Major. While there I stayed active with music playing with various musician/songwriters and especially at the Crossroads Coffee House on Franklin Street. In the years since I have played in various bands, written produciton music and songs and am currently the President of the Virginia Organization of Composers and Lyricists - VOCAL.
About
Rodeo Clown , a special collection of songwriters and musicians was a great songwriter band Members were Eileen Edmonds, William and Denise Perritt, Danny Vinson and Christie Wright. The song Diggin' For Elvis (co-written with my good friend Roy Kauffman) has always found appreciative fans. My two self-produced CD’s, Innerscape & Dining Out, can be heard are available to purchase through my web site.
I've been active in the Richmond, VA Music Community for many years.I have a long time collaborator, Derek Abbott. Yep, we're Abbott Costello.

Long time pals and great singers and m The Taters. have been great influences and generaous with allowing me to sit in with them from time to time.
I'm proud to say I'm working once again with the Virginia Organization of Composers and Lyricist. I served on their board for 9 years and as President from 1998 - 2000. I recently built their new website and am active in the monthly meetings and showcases.
