"So I peeled back the shrink wrap, slid the disc out of its board sleeve and stuck it in my CD player. The first song, “Chasing Trains”, grabbed me by the ears. It reminded me of Rockabilly legend, Bill Kirchen, and his band that I had seen up at Gruene Hall a year before. The second song, “Further Down the Line”, brought even more comparisons in my mind to Carl Perkins and Dave Edmunds. By the third song, “Like It’s a Crime”, I was hooked. But it was the fourth song, “Sycamore”, that wouldn’t let me go. Who were these guys? I was going to find out."
