Wasted are a 5 piece band from the Northwest of England, playing a combination of Classic Rock Covers and Original Material

About

"Wasted"... A Mad, Serious, United, yet completely different group of individuals, thrown together by fate? Destiny? Or just some accident ?

We're a bit of everything that doesn’t quite seem to match up, Confidence and Doubt, Sense and Insanity, Love and Hate, all rolled into one to make the insightful diversity of music that we create.

As musicians, every member with there own unique style and passion for there own musical tastes, creating everything from Soft Acoustic ballads to Heavy Metal rock.

We Love What we do, but always find ways to improve, both ourselves and our music, ever evolving and getting better and better with each new song, we strive to be as good as we can be, regardless of any obstacles we may face.

We find that many different bands influence us, and this in turn has a direct impact on the music we create. It has been said (believe it or not) that the contents of our ipods resemble your average sock draw, but it all makes perfect sense to us! As our own songs are borne from our passion of diversity in music, it has to be said that the roots of our musical foundations lie firmly in rock, with countless other styles thrown into the mix.

Of all the procedures you go through when being in a band, it’s unanimous amongst the Wasted collective that the best part is playing live. We’ve managed to make a name for ourselves on the live music circuit by playing regular gigs all over the North West, including venues in Manchester, Tameside and Stockport. We have also played some biker events, including the annual Tameside SMC Rock Night and The Rising Moon Rally. High energy, pure passion and the occasional tendency for a bit of cheeky improv, ensure for an entertaining evening, courtesy of Wasted.

We have a mini army of original songs that show the raw talent on offer. From thumping bass lines to sweeping guitar solos, crunching riffs to face-melting beats, each member adds their own unique skills and tastes to every track. Finished off with a front-woman with a unique and powerful voice making Wasted stand out from the crowd.

Lyrically, we cover everything from Love, Loss, Sex and even Vampirism, with words that grab you with there catchy mannerisms and get you singing along in the crowd.

All in all, we work hard and we love what we do, we're gonna be rocking for many years to come.We are currently gigging all over the Northwest of England, and we are trying to get into as many areas and venues as possible. Look out for Wasted in a venue near you soon, and come along to experience our unique energy for yourselves.
