Music is life. Galaxy shows this in a very impressive way. 20 years ago he started his DJ career. After a successful completed DJ-workshop Galaxy began his DJ life with parties at the Alte Posthalterei or at JC Sonne in Eisenach. At that time, he met Jana Clemen for the first time, whose music still inspires him today. Thrilled about the music and party scene Galaxy started together with Björn Lange his own DJ-workshop. With this, he helped a lot of people to start an impressive career as DJ.
After several gigs in Leipzig, Schmalkalden or Kassel, Galaxy started to organise his own parties at the Bunker or JC Sonne in Eisenach in 1999. At the Sophienaue (ESA Ground Posse) he got to know Chris Dexter and Thomas Steinbrecher, who still support him in developing visions and creating individuality today. In 1998, Galaxy met Denard Henry in Gierstädt for the first time, another life-changing experience.
In 1999, Galaxy initiated with friends the first “event broadcast” in Eisenach. During this, the idea of an electronic music show was borne - Monokultur. How brilliant this idea really was, shows the fact that this broadcast still exists today at the “Wartburgradio”. In 2000 Galaxy founded together with several musicians of Eisenach the association “Eisenacher Musikprojekte e.V.”. Parties at the Grund Neukirchen, at the Kufa in Waltershausen, at the Predigerkeller in Erfurt or in Berlin Gründau followed.
At the end of 2004 Galaxy opened together with Thomas Steinbrecher his own club in Eisenach, the so-called Sound & Culture. Famous DJ’s, like T. P. Heckmann, Denard Henry, Jana Clemen, Roland Caspar, Claus Bachor, Sascha Funke, Good Groove and also local DJ’s like Tend, Reiko Seefeld, Paco Biet or Chris Dexter are most welcomed guests.
Despite his work at the club, Galaxy is still working as a DJ. He is famous for his Neo Electro and Minimal Electro sets among all party guests. At the beginning of 2007 he released his first own production, known under the name of Electric Coffee.
