About
Miroslav Dukic D MIRRO is a musician from Belgrade, Serbia (ex-Yugoslavia) and his primary instrument is a guitar. In 1982, when the TAKO band stopped working actively as a jazz-rock-fusion band, he played the guitar in Holland and Germany for two years, and in 1984 he started to learn playing keyboards............ After 8 months, he started doing hotel gigs....and for the next 3 years this was something like a school to him. In 1989, he quit this job and began his work in Belgrade recording studios as a tone engineer, a producer, an arranger and a musician. He worked with a lot of bands and singers from Serbia and ex-Yugoslavia. In 1992, ten years later, the TAKO band brought their musical cooperation to an end and Thomas Werner, a collector and an amateur of the "Seventies" YU-rock scene, appeared in Belgrade. He visited the former band members Dusan and Miroslav D Mirro (George was in New York) several times and after a while proposed to reissue both of their albums on his "Kalemegdan Disk" label. It was a great chance for the TAKO musicians to present their music. In 1996, on the Internet, D Mirro found the information about existing reuse of the TAKO CDs by the Rocksymphony label from Brazil. The deal was between Thomas Werner and the Rocksymphony label based on a forged contract. After many years of correspondence and some heavy words between the TAKO members and these labels,God only knows who’s going to pay for that……..
