Bio

Acoustic pop-rock with hints of alternative, funk, blues, and country sprinkled in for good measure. Brian Colburn crafts songs that invite the listener to simply sit back, relax and let the music be their friend.

About

Brian Colburn pens songs that invite the listener to sit back, relax, and let the music take the wheel. With influnces that range from singer / songwriters such as John Hiatt, to veteran pop-rock acts such as Blues Traveler, Colburn's music is built from a solid foundation of soaring melodies and memorable hooks.

Since his 2008 debut "Literal Fiction," Colburn has performed throughout the eastern U.S., including street fairs, festivals, theme parks, and theaters. In 2009 Colburn released his 2nd disc "Time Marches On," was featured on Fox News' Strategy Room broadcast, and was featured on Versailles Record's release of "Wicked Garden: A Millennium Tribute To Stone Temple Pilots," where he and DC Slater contributed an acoustic-reworking of the band's 1994 hit "Unglued." Currently Brian is working on his 3rd disc, and performing throughout the east coast promoting his 2 current releases.
