Constant Seas / Press

“If I hear someone use the term 'Explosions in the Sky' as an adjective to describe Constant Seas, I’m gonna lose my shit. Anytime I hear a love song, I’m gonna say 'Hey, this sounds like Barry Manilow', when in fact, it does not sound like Barry Manilow. Let’s come up with another adjective to describe their music. How about ‘ethereal’? Defined as: aeriform: characterized by lightness and insubstantiality; as impalpable or intangible as air. I can see that. That describes what Constant Seas does.”

“There is something slightly epic about the meandering instrumental jams of Constant Seas. Sure, it may have something to do with having three guitarists in the band, but more accurately it probably has more to do with their boundless free-for-alls, each one of which manage to take listeners on quite the musical journey.”
