Bio

Hailing from Long Island, NY, Conflict In The Sky consists of 3 guys who are determined to create their own rock sound, and to create music that is real. With influences that range from classical music to industrial noise metal, it's hard to put them into one single genre. If you ask them, they'll tell you they are a alternative rock band, but listening to these songs, you hear so much more. These songs are dark, melodic, beautiful, powerful, ambient, and catchy, all in one package. Powering the songs are Chris Fullam's distinctive vocals, while Al Torres and Chito CN create the pulsating rhythmic foundation that allows the rock and synths to flow together effortlessly. It's also not often you hear such intelligent lyrics that are catchy and easy to understand. On the harsher, guitar-driven, "Exile," Chris describes a person who has been banished to an island because he found out a truth that would hurt those in power, while the electro-rocker "Staring Contest" tells the story of man with a guilty conscious who is wondering if he can live with the awful things he's done throughout his years. Little hint - not all stories have a happy ending.

Some of Chris's lyrical influences are Raine Maida of Our Lady Peace, Dustin Kensrue of Thrice, Brandon Boyd of Incubus, and Scott Anderson of Finger Eleven...just to name a few. "All of those guys write incredibly intelligent lyrics, and I've always been a fan of that. They use words and phrases that you haven't heard in 20 other songs," says Chris. Mix that in with some psychology classes in college, and it creates his own unique style. They are definitely worth reading.

Bottom line - If you are looking for something unique to add to your rock catalog, look no further. This band is just getting started.

About

CONFLICT IN THE SKY ORIGIN
Throughout history, man has wondered how the Earth came about. How did this incredibly complex entity known as our planet get created? The theories are numbered in the thousands, with a new one forming everyday. Most believe some sort of god exists in the heavens above the earth. As human beings, we question everything and need proof in order to believe. This is not true of "faith," as we are often told to simply "believe." The reasons for such behavior differ from person to person, but one constant remains the same. Human's do not like to admit they are wrong, and will defend their beliefs at all costs. Wars have been started because of these beliefs, and some of the most horrific events in World history are attributed to discrepancies between theories. The World shall forever be in conflict.

The question to be posed for you is, with thousands of theories, which one is right? What if they were all right, and thousands of "gods" existed above us? Would there be a CONFLICT IN THE SKY?
