Bio
Debut release from these five hard punk rockers who decided to go back to the roots of the late 70’s. Brought up on the sounds of Rock coming out of Brazil, the UK and the US, they have always wanted to make a raw power album. This is just the begining!

OUT AND LOUD. This may be the best way to present Comodoro’s debut release! The band is already well known in Sao Paulo’s best and most obscure rocker spots. Together, Grull (vocals), Cronfli (bass), Chubas (guitar), Billy (guitar) and Azedo (drums) have wrapped up within 18 minutes and 10 tracks all the dirty, simple and naughty behaviour that rock n’ roll has been missing; all in a result of 2 long weekends of work supervised and approved by the producer Biu – well known for his work with bands such as Ultraje a Rigor, Dead Fish, Dance Of Days, Lab and others. Entitled “Acabou o Bailinho” (“the party is over”), the album brings a concise and mature sound, but still manages to keep an ironic and unpretentious attitude: “it’s all about having fun”! Digging deep into the sounds and themes addressed to their work is not even necessary to be able to realize the strong influence of classic bands such as the Misfits, The Cramps, the Sex Pistols and the Dead Kennedys. In fact, the band takes pride in that resemblance, going as far as being very open about their passion for the kinky and perverse rock life style. Above all, “Acabou o Bailinho” is shaking the dirt among the underground scene, while still bringing a mean rock sound, filled with honest, impolite lyrics and high quality music. Not for the faint-hearted!

Talvez seja essa a melhor expressão para definir de bate-pronto o primeiro registro em estúdio do Comodoro, banda que já é velha conhecida do público frequentador dos melhores e mais obscuros buracos roqueiros da noite paulistana. Em apenas 18 minutos, Grull (vocal), Cronfli (baixo), Chubas (guitarra), Billy (guitarra) e Azedo (bateria) veneram o terror, idolatram a birita e arrepiam a mulherada com 10 faixas simples, diretas, sujas e cheias de sacanagem e inconsequência, resultado de 2 finais de semana de gravações no Sin Sítyo em Mairiporã/SP. Tudo isso supervisionado e aprovado pelo produtor Biu, nome bastante conhecido pelos trabalhos com bandas como Ultraje a Rigor, Dead Fish, Dance Of Days e Lab, entre outros. Intitulado “Acabou o Bailinho”, uma referência a um dos famosos bordões proferidos nos shows, o álbum mostra uma banda que soa madura, concisa, mas que ao mesmo tempo mantém uma atitude irônica e despretensiosa, com ares de “diversão é tudo o que importa”. E nem é preciso fazer uma análise muito profunda da sonoridade e das temáticas abordadas pelo Comodoro para sentir a fortíssima influência de bandas clássicas como The Misfits, The Cramps, Sex Pistols e Dead Kennedys. Aliás, a semelhança é motivo de orgulho para os integrantes, que não fazem questão nenhuma de esconder a grande admiração pelo universo do rock perverso e pervertido. No final das contas, “Acabou o Bailinho” é um disco que vem para revirar o lixo da cena e espalhar ainda mais a sujeira no underground, sem, é claro, deixar de brindar a galera com um rock malvado, recheado de composições sinceras, mal educadas e de boa qualidade. Mas que fique bem claro: definitivamente, o som do Comodoro não é coisa para iniciantes.
