Common Ground is made up of brothers Al and Will Powell, & Jessie Powell (Will's wife). These guys have been performing and playing together for the past 7 years, six of those as Common Ground. The name Common Ground originates from how they share oneness in Christ. Al describes their sound as, "acoustic driven with an emphasis on meaningful lyrics." Our prayer is to reach those outside the body of Christ, so that we may share the common ground of eternal salvation. Common Ground was clearly defined in 2000 as songs were being written which were inspired by the Holy Spirit. Common Ground seeks to redefine acoustic rock music. The difference is clear: flat out acoustic rock at its best. End of Story.
