Q: "Tears" is a very powerful lyric and song..but is it purely from the imagination or were you influenced by a true story for this tiny masterpiece?
A: Hi Mike thanks for dropping by and taking a minute to ask me a question! Unfortunately "If Her Tears Were Stars" was inspired by a true story. The Bridge reaches out to not only the young girl who I pray every day hears the song, because I believe even though she is now a young adult she still suffers from the abuse. The song was meant to reach all the young victims and Survivors out there to let them know they aren't alone with their terrible secret! Thank you again for asking :) Colleen
