CoelacanthDance isn't an easy band to pigeonhole, - the music incorporates elements of middle eastern, arabic, space and progressive rock with ambient, electronica, jazz, funk, world fusion, psychedelia, rock... and beyond! CoelacanthDance was one of 1,000 bands (selected from over 400,000 at ReverbNation) to be part of the newly launched Sponsored Songs program that Microsoft sponsored. 1000 handpicked ReverbNation artists were featured on www.MySpace.com/Windows from June 24 through September 24, 2009 and their songs were available for download for free. CoelacanthDance's track 'KarmaZone' was downloaded a total of 1012 times.
