The sun may be yellow and the grass may be green, but when you put them together you get the blues. Excellent work. Especially "shadow man".

Q: Hey Code 5 Band.......my band would really like to cover one of your originals songs "It Takes an Old Man". Great song and would like to add it to our set list. Thanks for your consideration...Les

A: Thank you for your question. It was unexpected and quite flattering. To respond, I would like to give you a little background to Code 5. In 2013, we came upon the fact that we have several talented people with varying skills and have been successful creating lyrics and writing music to the lyrics. Coming from the 60’s and 70’s music scene, and watching how egos tore apart some of the best bands, we decided that no matter who did what, that we were all the “creators” of our music, sharing equally in everything. Our copyrights say each and all of us played the drums, wrote the lyrics, and created the music. Sharing in that equally, I had to poll everyone for their answer. That took some time to do that. The unanimous consensus is that we do not want our music played by others. Best wishes pursuing your music.
