About
I am Cloud t 83 and who can tell you about me better than myself? No one…I was born in Inglewood California raised in the small town of Paris Texas. At age 4, I remember riding with my moms in her 1985 Nissan Sentra as she made these interesting sounds “ dun da dun da dun dun da dunda doon da doon” Salt N Pepa’s “Push It”. I fell in love with Music. By age 7 my Christmas list included Air Stix Drum Sticks, turntables, a microphone and a keyboard. Influenced by all artist good or bad. In elementary I spent more time writing songs than doing homework. I was the shy tomboy all about Music and Basketball. At age 15, I produced and wrote “When will I see a change” recorded at Jubilee Records with one of my mentors Richard Jones. Imagine, 16 years old getting calls from friends and relatives “ Tee I heard your song on the radio!!”. Next thing I knew my peers were getting at me for advice. My Junior year of high school I connected with another local rapper Sonny B and we formed Milasecond Records, we dropped 4 mixtapes with our artists T-dub, Rashad, JJ. I even had a plan back then, each of our artist went to separate schools so we had Paris pretty much locked t-shirts, shows, cds, etc. But shortly after graduation the men began to feel themselves. Combined with loosing my great grandfather, no support from my family with my music, torn ACL killed basketball scholarships, I felt discouraged and moved to Bronx New York. The Texas Stranger was born. Solitude painted lyrics like “ The world didn’t use a condom when it F$%#!@ me/ Just impregnated me with the mentality nobody can touch me”. A new me returned to Texas determined and focused. Trials and Tribulations tested my faith and rewarded me with the opportunity to work for artist such as Erykah Badu, Nayrok Udab, Tony Henry, Peacelove, and Jevette just to name a few. Four years later I’ve decided to take what I’ve learned from the best and Do me. Stepping out from behind the scenes and paying dues to my own company Gone Wit It Entertainment. Conquering all titles from songwriter, artist, manager, producer, and CEO I am a woman of little sleep. Seeing many friends turn to drugs, end up with babies, in jail and even in coffins, I fear nothing and no one at this point in my life. Everything is possible even after my death I will still pursue my dreams lol. In my lyrics I approach many topics from all sorts of views. I’m open to work with other aspiring artist free of charger as long as their passion and drive is equivalent to or exceeds mine.
