This month’s full-day event will take place on Saturday, September 24 from 3-8pm. Local, award-winning jazz and blues guitarist Justin Johnson will kick things off with an hour of jaw-dropping guitar performance. The second band, Steph Stewart and the Boyfriends, is a Folk/Americana duo composed of multi-Instrumentalist Tim Stambaugh, who has been well-established on the local music scene for decades, and Steph Stewart, a budding songwriter who offers hauntingly beautiful vocals and guitar to Tim’s bluegrass style banjo, dobro, and bouzouki. Graymatter will carry the event into the evening with acoustic originals and inspired covers from the 60s and 70s with a generous dose of three-part harmonies. Meanwhile, professional artist Litina Egungun, who has quickly become a crowd favorite, will be in attendance offering face-painting for the young and young-at-heart.
